I had a pleasant experience in this charming little town. It's very convenient for those traveling by ferry, and the staff was extremely accommodating when I arrived late at night. However, the long wait for the steam train detracted from my overall enjoyment. Still, I appreciated the lovely ambiance of the town and the sound of the whales in the morning.

I had a wonderful experience at the park hotel, which was not only clean and welcoming but also conveniently located near the ferry terminal. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the cabin we stayed in was simple yet comfortable. However, I found the kitchen facilities a bit limited for cooking apart from breakfast, and the room was on the smaller side. Overall, I would happily return for another stay.

I had a great experience at this park hotel. It's a lovely and quiet spot, kept incredibly clean, and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. I really appreciated the proximity to town, making it easy to explore. However, my stay was a bit affected by the weather, as it rained heavily during my visit, limiting my outdoor activities.

Rooms

The space was cozy, but I found it a bit smaller than I expected, especially since I typically don't share a bed with my travel partner. It was located close to the road, which made it a bit noisy at times.

The service here was fantastic! The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, offering advice on what to do around Picton and even selling coffee at the office.

7.0/10

I had a mixed experience at the campground in Picton. On one hand, I appreciated the friendly atmosphere and the cleanliness of the facilities. However, the pitch we were allocated felt cramped and challenging to access, plus there was a lot of noise from nearby guests, which disrupted my stay. The location is ideal, but there were some aspects of comfort that needed improvement.

Rooms
5.0
The pitch given to us was too small for our van and difficult to maneuver into. Nonetheless, the nearby standard cabin we viewed was well-kept and had all necessary amenities.
Service

The staff were friendly and provided excellent advice on activities in the area, which added a nice touch to our stay.
Location

The location is perfect, being close to the marina and town center. It's also great for picking up the ferry.

The facilities overall were clean, but having only one shower in the nearest block was quite inconvenient.
